National Service Person Remanded for Allegedly Defiling Three Pupils

The Bibiani Circuit Court has issued a remand order for a 24-year-old National Service Person named Bismark Ansu for allegedly defiling three pupils in Sehwi Asawinso Methodist Primary B, located in the Sehwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western North Region.

Ansu is also a class two teacher of the three victims.

The accused reportedly initiated the defiling act during his personal extra classes for his pupils in January this year.

He took advantage of the situation to lure three of the pupils, who were between the ages of eight and nine, into having sexual intercourse with him, threatening to harm or kill them if they spoke about it.

It wasn’t until several weeks later that parents of the three victims noticed abnormal blood discharge from their daughters’ private parts. They interrogated their daughters and discovered the horrific ordeal they had gone through.

Upon this discovery, the authorities were contacted and a report was made to the Sehwi Asawinso police. Complainants were issued a medical form to take the victims to a government hospital for examination, treatment, and endorsement of their defilement claims.

Bismark Ansu is facing three charges: threat of death, defilement, and threat of harm. The police put him before the Bibiani Circuit Court, which issued a remand order and scheduled his reappearance for 29th May 2023.

This traumatic incident has caused emotional distress to the victims, and they are currently undergoing treatment to help them recover and cope with the aftermath.
