The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced placement schedule for the 2020 batch of nurses and midwives.
According to the GHS, a total of 6,015 nurses and midwives who applied for the postings through the Ministry of Health portal are set to be placed in their preferred regions.
The placement process will be conducted in stages, with different cadres of nurses and midwives reporting on specific dates.

Dates for reporting for placement are as follows:
- Monday, 18th November – Tuesday, 19th November 2024: Enrolled Nurses
- Wednesday, 20th November 2024: Community Health Nurses/ Registered Community Health Nurses and Public Health Nurses
- Thursday, 21st November 2024: Registered General Nurses and Midwives
- Friday, 22nd November 2024: Nursing and Midwifery Officers
Reporting Requirements:
All nurses and midwives are requested to report to their preferred regions with their certificates and AIN/PIN from the Nursing and Midwifery Council for selection and placement.
