For teacher trainee graduates who completed their studies this year, it is believed that they will undertake their service and licensure as demanded.
However, those graduating in the 2025 academic year will be partakers of these new reforms.
In essence, once teacher trainees complete their licensing process, they will be eligible for recruitment without the need to undertake any national service.
This reform aims to ensure the prompt employment of newly qualified teachers to fill the various teaching positions in the Ghana Education Service.
