It has come to our attention that scammers are operating on WhatsApp, pretending to be representatives of the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) and offering assistance in accessing loans. We urgently need to warn you that these scammers are frauds and that the SLTF has not created any WhatsApp group to provide loan assistance.

These unknown individuals have created a WhatsApp group in the name of the trust Fund, and are falsely claiming to help trainees secure loans from the SLTF.
Please be informed that teacher trainees are not eligible for loans from the SLTF, as they are already receiving allowances to support their education. Anyone claiming otherwise is trying to scam you.

We urge you to be vigilant and not to join any group claiming to offer loan assistance. By joining such a group, you may be putting yourself at risk of identity theft, fraud or financial loss.
