Following inquiries by our news team, the Student Loan Trust Fund has provided an update on the disbursement of allowances to teacher trainees in the 46 public colleges of Education in the country.
The Trust Fund has confirmed that all issues relating to the disbursement have been resolved, and they are still receiving student data from some colleges of Education.
However, the Trust Fund was unable to provide a specific timeframe for when the disbursement will be made to the trainees. They stated that they cannot tell as things stand now.
Nevertheless, they assured our news team that their SMS system is active, and students will receive a notification alert anytime disbursement is made.
In the meantime, trainees are urged to concentrate on their academic and other activities, as they are assured of receiving messages when the disbursement is made.
The Trust Fund also apologized for any inconvenience caused by the delay.
