The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has disclosed the implementation of a new course registration policy for the second semester of the 2023/24 academic year.
In a letter addressed to Principals of the Colleges of Education affiliated to UEW, Prof. Samuel O. Bekoe, the Director of the Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD), announced that the university will be conducting bulk registration of courses for students.
Unlike the previous individual registration process that followed the payment of examination fees, UEW has decided to streamline the process by conducting bulk registration for all students.

To ensure compliance with the new policy, the university has emphasized that only students who have paid their examination fees in full will be registered for the second semester.
In cases where students have paid their examination fees directly to the affiliate Colleges, the list of students and evidence of payment must be submitted to UEW. This will enable the university to include these students in the bulk registration.

Prof. Samuel O. Bekoe expressed his confidence in the timely action of the Principals and urged them to expedite the submission of the necessary documents.
“Please, note that it will be difficult to register any student left out of the bulk registration. We count very much on your expedited action”
