TTAG-WEC Sector Partners with Eyesurance Clinic to Promote Eye Care and Awareness In Colleges Within the Sector

The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana-Western & Central Sector (TTAG-WEC SECTOR) has announced its partnership program with Eyesurance Clinic.

The clinic specializes in the human eye and its related illnesses and issues.

This partnership program aims to provide awareness, sensitization, and education on eye care health, prevention, and cure alternatives for trainees within the sector.

The program will also provide free or affordable eye care consultation and screening services with recommendations of alternative solutions.

The screening services will not exempt the major causes of visual impairment such as glaucoma, cataract, refractive error, retinoblastoma, and cornea-related diseases.

Additionally, modern medicated eyewear will be provided at an affordable cost to curb any eye defect.

It should be noted that only teacher trainees and staff of colleges of education within the sector will benefit from this exercise.

The team of experts will visit the various colleges for the exercise at a date set by the various principals of the Colleges within the sector.

The TTAG-WEC SECTOR believes that this partnership program will go a long way in promoting eye health among teacher trainees and staff of the colleges within the sector.

The association is committed to ensuring that all trainees and staff have access to these affordable eye care services.

In a statement released by the TTAG-WEC SECTOR, the association stated “We are excited about this partnership program with Eyesurance Clinic. We believe that it will help us achieve our goal of promoting eye health among teacher trainees and staff of colleges within our sector. We encourage all trainees and staff to take advantage of this opportunity to get their eyes screened and receive affordable eye care services.”

The TTAG-WEC SECTOR also urged other organizations to partner with them to promote the health and well-being of teacher trainees and staff of colleges of education within the sector.
