The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has acknowledged the concerns raised by a number of trainees who had not received their allowances.
Following calls from the affected students, our News Team held a comprehensive discussion with SLTF to shed light on the issue.
The discussion revealed that SLTF genuinely recognizes that certain trainees have not received their allowances and that is due to mismatched particulars.

SLTF stated they immediately directed the allowance coordinators in the various colleges to rectify the situation and resubmit the necessary information on such students.
However, it was disclosed that some colleges submitted their details late, adding to the delay in the disbursement process.
SLTF confirmed that they are currently working on processing the submissions they have received lately. And they assured us that disbursements will be made to these trainees soon.

However, In the meantime, payments have already been successfully made to students in schools who promptly responded to the call.
In light of this, SLTF urges all affected students to remain patient as they diligently work on releasing their allowances.
According to SLTF, the funds are readily available, with the delays arising from discrepancies in the students’ particulars. Therefore, SLTF is committed to ensuring accuracy before disbursing the funds to avoid any further issues.
