PRINCOF Releases 2024/2025 Academic Calendar for Colleges of Education

The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF) has officially released the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic year.

According to the calendar, academic activities are set to kick off on the 18th of November, 2024 for levels 100, 200, and 300 students.

Final year students are expected to report to school for their orientation towards macro teaching from the 11th to the 15th of November.

The calendar also includes a detailed breakdown of key dates for the academic year, including semester breaks and examination periods.

2024/2025 Academic calendar:

15^th November, 2024	Level 400 students report to their schools of attachment for macro teaching
18^th November, 2024	Levels 100, 200 and 300 students report to campus for the first phase of the first semester	5 Weeks
21^st Dec, 2024 -11^th Jan, 2025	Levels 100, 200 and 300 students go home for Christmas break	3 Weeks
12^th January, 2025	Levels 100, 200 and 300 students report to campus for the second phase of the first semester	7 Weeks
3^rd-14^th March, 2025	End of First semester Examinations for Levels 100, 200 and 300 students	2 Weeks
15^th March -26^th April, 2025	Semester Break for Levels 100, 200 and 300 Students	6 Weeks
27^th April, 2025	Levels 100, 200, 300 and 400 students report to campus for the second semester	12 weeks (Level 400 students to stay outside campus)
21^st July-1^st August 2025	End of Semester Examination for levels 100, 200, 300 and 400 students	2 Weeks
2^nd August, 2025	Inter-Semester Break
