The NSS has officially announced that personnel are now expected to start their national service on March 18, 2024.

The corrected message states, “Your period of national service starts from March 18, 2024, and ends on March 13, 2025. You will be entitled to one month terminal leave (usually in the month of March).”
This clarification sets the record straight and provides a clear timeline for newly trained teachers to plan their activities.

The NSS has emphasized the importance of newly trained teachers taking note of this change and commencing their regional registrations as soon as possible.

It has also come to light that some prospective personnel only received their NSS enrollment pincodes recently and have yet to commence their registration.
