On Friday, 9th June 2023, Komenda College of Education joined the nation in observing the Green Ghana Day Flagship Policy.
This flagship policy was launched by the Government of Ghana in 2021 as part of an effort to replenish the country’s degraded environment. The theme for this year’s observation was “Our Forest, Our Health”.
The Principal of the college, Very Rev. Kwesi Nkum Wilson(PhD), who spoke at the event, highlighted the vital role forests play in the ecosystem and for human survival. He added that the college has been an active participant in the Green Ghana initiative for the past three years.
