H.E Soale Razak has been officially inducted as the new president of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) on May 18, 2024.

The ceremony, held at Accra College of Education in Accra, marked the beginning of Razak’s tenure as the leader of this influential association.

Background and Education

Known for his strong educational background, Razak attended St. Kizito’s ‘A’ Basic School from 2009-2014 and St. Kizito’s ‘A’ Junior High School from 2015-2017.

Later, he pursued his studies at Bole Senior High School from 2017-2020.

Currently, Razak is a student at Tamale College of Education.

Leadership Roles

Razak brings with him a wealth of leadership experience.

He previously served as the Student Representative Council (SRC) President at Tamale College of Education from July 2023 to March 2024.

Additionally, he was a member of the College Governing Council during the same period.

Razak also acted as the team lead for the TACE SRC Eminence Awards from February 2024 to March 2024.

Furthermore, Razak’s contributions extended beyond his college.

He served as the President of the National Association of Gonjaland Students at TACE in 2022, demonstrating his commitment to representing student interests at a wider level.

As a course representative at Tamale College of Education, he championed the rights of various departments from 2021 to 2024.

Razak’s leadership journey began even before college, where he served as the Computer Lab Prefect at Bole Senior High School from 2019 to 2020.

Similarly, he held the position of President of the Gonjaland Students Association at BOSEC during the 2019/2020 academic year.

 His dedication to discipline and responsibility is evident from his term as the Discipline Prefect at St. Kizito’s ‘A’ Junior High School from 2016 to 2017 and the Compound Prefect from 2014 to 2015.

Vision for TTAG

As the president of TTAG, Razak has made it clear that his focus is on the collective welfare of teacher trainees in Ghana.

He has emphasized that he is not going to be driven by personal agendas but rather committed to addressing the needs and goals of all teacher trainees.

During his tenure, Razak has also promised to implement concrete projects and programs that will effectively address the concerns of teacher trainees in the country.
