GES Interdicts Three Officers Over Alleged Theft of Free SHS Food Items

The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken action by interdicting three officers of Somè Senior High School in the Volta Region.

The interdiction comes as a result of an alleged stealing of free Senior High School (SHS) food items.

The three individuals who have been interdicted are Richard Ametorxe, the Bursar; Yorm Dzikumu, the Matron; and Alex Obuadi, the Storekeeper.

They have all been relieved of their duties with immediate effect pending further investigation.

According to a press release issued by the GES, the interdicted officers have been instructed to hand over their responsibilities to the Headmaster of Somè SHS.

Meanwhile, an investigative committee has been formed and given a two-week period to conduct a thorough investigation and submit its report to the GES management.
