The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued an apology for the technical challenges that have plagued its teachers recruitment portal.
As a result, the 2022 graduates from Colleges of Education are currently unable to commence the submissions of their applications for employment.
“We apologize for the technical challenges you are facing on our recruitment portal,” GES management said in a statement. “Our IT team is working on it currently. Please bear with us. Thank you.”

This announcement comes after the government, through the Ministry of Education, granted GES financial clearance to recruit the first batch of degree holders from public Colleges of Education.
GES has not yet announced a timeline for resolving the technical issues with the portal.
However, prospective applicants are advised to monitor the GES website at https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh/recruitment for updates.
