Enchi College of Education has commissioned a new 60KVA generator, supplied by Anointed Electrical Engineering Services, to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.

The new power plant was unveiled during the college’s matriculation ceremony on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

The new generator replaces an aging power unit that had been in use since 1991, representing a significant upgrade to the college’s infrastructure.

This investment is expected to reduce the financial burden of electricity costs. The previous generator was connected to the national grid, resulting in double billing through electricity meters.

The new power plant will enable the college to operate more efficiently during power outages, ensuring uninterrupted academic activities.
