The Cape Coast District Court 2 has decided to adjourn the case concerning a student from Adisadel College, who was caught in a viral video, allegedly assaulting his fellow student.
This adjournment means that the case will now resume on the 2nd of August 2023.
During the first hearing of this case, the court found itself unable to proceed due to the unavailability of a full panel to preside over the matter. Hence, the decision was made to adjourn it to a later date.

Earlier this week, the Housemaster of Quaque House at Adisadel College was placed on interdiction as an investigation was launched into the viral video involving the two students.
The video depicted one student tightly gripping the neck of the other, repeatedly striking his head against the metallic bed frame, resulting in visible swelling on the victim’s face.
In response to this incident, the school’s administration took immediate punitive action, one of which involved the interdiction of Ekow Holman from his position as the Quaque Housemaster.
