The Agona East-Nsaba Education office has issued a query to a teacher for allegedly refusing to attend the NTC/CPD training organized by the Child Alert Foundation.
The query letter, dated December 11th, 2023, states that the teacher is required to provide an explanation to the management as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against them for their absence from the workshop held on Friday, December 8th, 2023.
The NTC/CPD training is a development workshop designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of educators in the country.

The training aims to provide teachers with new teaching methodologies, strategies, and approaches to improve educational outcomes for students.
The management of the education office expressed their concern over the teacher’s refusal to attend the workshop, as it is a mandatory requirement for all educators in the region.
The query letter stated that the teacher has until the close of work on Friday, December 15th, 2023, to respond to the management’s query.
The teacher is expected to provide valid reasons for their absence and explain why disciplinary measures should not be taken against them.
