Sale of UEW Application Forms for 2023/2024 Academic Year Extended |APPLY HERE|

The University of Education Winneba (UEW) has announced the extension of the sale of application forms for the 2023/2024 academic year.

This decision is to allow interested candidates, especially the2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Candidates to apply for admission at the University.

Application Deadlines

The closing date for the various forms are as follows,

Application Form Costs

• Regular/Sandwich Direct: GHC 255.00
• Distance Direct: GHC 255.00
• Regular/Sandwich Mature: GHC 405.00
• Distance Mature: GHC 405.00
• Regular/Sandwich Postgraduate: GHC 325.00
• Distance Postgraduate: GHC 325.00
• International UDS: $100.00

How to Apply/Where to Get Voucher

To successfully complete your application, ensure you have a valid email address, mobile phone number, and soft copies of your results slip/transcripts, certificates, passport photograph, birth certificate (for mature applicants), and all other necessary documents to support your application.

1. Visit the UEW admissions website at https://www.uew.edu.gh/admissions/apply-online
2. Select your preferred entry mode: Regular/Fulltime, Sandwich, Distance, or Postgraduate.
3. To purchase the application form, you have three options:

• Purchase online via mobile money platforms such as MTN, VodaCash, and AirtelTigo.
• Dial the short code *887*9# to purchase a form on any mobile network in Ghana.
• Buy a voucher from authorized banks:
  • GCB Bank
  • ADB Bank
  • Republic Bank
  • Zenith Bank
  • Prudential Bank
  • Access Bank

Upon receiving your PIN, click on “apply now” and enter your PIN. If you have a Serial and PIN, enter them as required to proceed to the application form.

4. Enter your personal details, educational history, results/qualifications, program choice, and attach the required supporting documents. Once done, submit the application form.
5. You will receive a notification via email and text message confirming the successful completion of your application.

Postgraduate Applicants

Applicants applying for postgraduate programs should download a Referee Report form if required and submit it to graduateadmissions@uew.edu.gh after submitting their application forms.

Remember to look out for the Progress ID, which will allow you to continue filling out the application form from where you left off, if you decide to leave the application before final submission.
