Reason Why God Didn’t kill Adam and Eve at the Spot they Sinned

One of the controversial questions asked by Many is why couldn’t God ‘kill’ Adam and Eve on the Spot they violated His Laws and Regulations and start it all over with a New set of mankind, especially being fully aware of the future consequences as God.

This sounds good and logical, but before we start, I want us to understand and look at how God formed Man and the ideal pattern He used.

In  Genesis 1:26 [Amplified Bible]. God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. [Ps. 104:30; Heb. 1:2; 11:3.]

The man was made in the image and likeness of God! That’s wonderful! This sounds to reason that man then was carrying and having the characteristics and attributes of God(Man was god), Including immortality.

There was no time bound for Man to die nor to “depreciate” in terms of age!

God Never formed Man for Man to die but to Live and dwell Forever! It is Man’s disobedience and violations of God’s instructions that Created Death. God’s ultimate purpose for forming Man was for man to live, have dominion and rule the Earth!

How come someone formed to Rule now becomes a slave to Fear and Death? The issue was, that was the agreement which went on between God and Adam. Look at what happened between God and Man(Adam)

Genesis 2:15-17 (Amplified Bible) says; And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

That’s the Agreement and the Condition! Dear Reader, GOD said on the day Adam will eat the forbidden fruit, he will surely die! The question now is,

Did Adam died on the day he ate the forbidden fruit?

The answer is an award-winning YES. On the day Adam ate the fruit, THE IMMORTALITY STATE OF ADAM VARNISHED! So Adam and Eve Now saw themselves naked! The Glory of immortality left them!

Genesis 3:7 [Amplified Bible.) confirmed; Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves apronlike girdles.

Look at that! Very pathetic! For all those years spent in the Garden, they never knew they were naked? Yes! It was because they were in the immortality state and the Glory which covers nakedness and shame was upon them! Once lost, they became mortal, and anything mortal is bound to die…

Look at what happened in the Garden, they went and hid when God came to visit them! Look at the question God asked;

Genesis 3:8-11 (Amplified Bible) says;
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you? He said, I heard the sound of You [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?

Look at that! God now asks Adam where He was. That was very strange! But it was so because Man has now moved from the state of immortality to mortality and hence bound to die!

Should God kill them? GOD CANNOT KILL ADAM AND EVE AT THE SPOT BECAUSE THAT WAS NOT THE AGREEMENT! The agreement was “YOU WILL DIE!! REMEMBER, IT IS THE DEVIL THAT KILLS BUT OUR GOD GIVES LIFE

In John 10:10 (Amplified Bible), Jesus said The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Now, the “HEAVEN” THAT WAS CREATED FOR MAN WAS TAKEN FROM HIM… Man now Mortal!

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. Genesis 3:23 Amplified Bible

The Master Planner

But the amazing thing was, our GOD is the Master Planner! In all these, HE HAD PLAN FOR MAN TO ATTAIN SUCH LEVEL OF LIVING FOREVER AND THAT WAS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

I want you to understand, GOD NEVER CREATED DEATH, MANKIND CREATED DEATH BY OBEYING SATAN

Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned. (Romans 5:12 Amplified Bible.) 

The scripture never said God ‘manufactured’ death, it’s through the SIN OF MAN, DEATH APPEARED. But thank God, Our Loving Father who is holding ontoo his plans forever.

For just as by one man's disobedience (failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man's obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him). Romans 5:19 Amplified Bible.

 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him, there is no rejection, no condemnation–he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.] The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil. John 3:16-19 Amplified Bible [Isa. 5:20.]
