Someone may ask, why have I declared this month as a month of Reading?
I’ve realized, if care is not taken, authentic Christianity will varnish from the system within the next 20 years to come…
Christians will become dependent on their pastors alone for word whiles they have to read the word for themselves… With this, they will be lured into believing certain things which isn’t correct…it has even started… We have people chewing grass in the name of deliverance and salvation…Hmmm mercy!
We are admonished to follow the steps of Jesus… That’s very true… But one of the step that majority of pastors fails to preach is his reading habit…
Jesus was a reader!!!
He once asked, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
Look at the question Jesus was asking the scribes!!! ? HAVE YOU NOT READ!!… which means He has read it! Hallelujah!!! Jesus christ was a reader when on earth… That’s the step we are to follow…
All these nasty things happening in the Christiandom are as the results of lack of reading…
Majority of pastors preach about holiness and stuff but forgot to teach people to read… Its only when a man discovers truth through Reading that he can recover his life and receive salvation
Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female,
Mat 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Look at that!!!! JESUS IS THE GREAT READER OF ALL TIME. You could see from the above reference that Jesus was indeed a reader
The truth is, every reader becomes a leader…
Take it from me! If you want to become a great leader as Jesus was while on earth, Then it’s not far from you… READ WIDE!!!!
Luke 4:16 say… as his custom was….Which means it was His habit and a way of life…
No wonder He was able to give the scribes intelligent answers…
The secret was HE WAS A READER NOT JUST A TALKER
Today we have alot of youths and Christians who are just talkers… Moving here and there with the Passion and Zeal of preaching Jesus… But I can assure you they are much ignorant than everything…
Many pastors won’t tell you the truth.. I will because I’m call to eradicate certain teachings which are faulty and correct certain things which aren’t true …..
Jesus went to 40days fasting not only to pray but to read and mediate…
Why do your pastor go along with a BIBLE for hid out and mountains…
The secret is the power in reading is bigger than the force of gravity. Because it was through Reading that the force of gravity was discovered…
The talking is too much… Let’s get to our closet and read… The conversation and gossip is too much… Sit behind your book and read…. Discover more for yourself… JESUS WAS A GREAT READER, FOLLOW HIM
