The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has initiated a Revenue Mobilisation Exercise that will run from 29th May to 2nd June 2023.

This exercise aims to collect all outstanding payments of customers, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), to ensure prompt payments and overall improved revenue collection.

During this massive revenue mobilisation exercise, special monitoring teams will be deployed to oversee the entire process. These teams will apprehend and prosecute customers who try to tamper with the exercise or illegally reconnect themselves after disconnection.

The ECG implores all customers to cooperate with the special monitoring teams, for a successful and smooth exercise.

To enable total participation from top management and staff, the ECG stated they shall operate with lean staff pools who will provide essential services to customers throughout the revenue mobilisation period. Nevertheless, all Customer Service Centres will remain open, providing uninterrupted services to customers.

Customers who currently owe payments are urged to settle their accounts and avoid disconnection and reconnection fees.

However, The ECG assures all customers of an improved service delivery system, following the successful completion of the Revenue Mobilisation Exercise.
