Information reaching the front desk of Coleman Publications reveals the Students Loan Trust Fund(SLTF) has made a disbursement of one-month arrear to teacher trainees in the 46 Public Colleges of Education.
According to sources, a section of students will receive their stipends later in not less than 48 hours. This is as a result of the slow process of disbursement.
Some trainees could also not receive their disbursement messages due to the slow process of the disbursement.
This one month disbursement is made to trainees on the back of a disbursement made by the government to pay trainees feeding grants to the various colleges
Teacher trainees are therefore urged to visit the bank, load their cards and withdraw their cash.
