The Principal of Komenda College of Education, Very Reverend Kwesi Nkum Wilson (PhD) has mentioned the 2022/2023 admissions process to be the most hectic and challenging moments he has experienced since his coming into office.
He made this statement during the 16th Matriculation Ceremony held by the College on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Explaining that, the college had a total of 2,500 first-choice qualified applicants.
However, the introduction of the admission quota by the government for the 2022/2023 admissions compelled him to admit only 315 applicants, which is even a flout of the directives, as he was to admit 295.
The Principal stated the selection process was not easy as the college had no option but to turn down the application of over 2,185 qualified applicants.
