Despite the ongoing rough-and-tumble in the colleges of Education, the management of the Institute Of Education, UCC has released the End Of Second Semester Examination Timetable for Level 200 Bachelor of Education students in colleges of education affiliated with the University.
According to the timetable, the End Of Second Semester Examination will start on 5th December 2022 and end on 16th December 2022.
This has brought a lot of uproar among the trainees as the majority are saying the institute is not treating them fairly.
With CETAG on strike for over two weeks now, and academic activities on halt, the majority of the courses for the semester are yet to be covered.
What makes the case worse is that the institute has given them barely less than a week to get prepared and write the examination.
Some of the trainees who shared their sentiments with Coleman Publications posited without their lecturers back on campus, they are not going to take the papers.

Adding that, the best people to supervise them are their tutors. And besides, they must return to the classroom to ‘finish their unfinished business’ before any examination by the institute.
Some, however, appealed to the Institute to reconsider its decision by rescheduling the examination to January 2023.
They hope by then, the government would have responded to the proposal of CETAG.
