UPSA Extends Fee Payment Deadline, Continues Admissions for 2024/2025 – APPLY HERE

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has announced an extension for fee payments for admitted students, while also continuing to accept applications for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The announcement, made by the university’s Academic Affairs Directorate, is due to a technical issue with the student payment platform.

According to a notice released on January 10th, 2024, the deadline for payment of fees has been extended to Friday, January 24th, 2025.

This extension is intended to accommodate students experiencing issues with the payment platform.

In addition, the notice states that prospective applicants with a West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) can continue to apply for admission until Friday, January 17th, 2025.

How to Apply

Applying to the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is a straightforward process.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  • Purchase an Online Serial Number (OSN):
    • For Ghanaian Applicants: GH¢250.00
    • For International Applicants: US$120.00
    • You can purchase the OSN at Ecobank or Access Bank branches, Ghana Post branches, or via mobile money using the short code *887*9#
  • Complete the Online Application Form:
    • Log on to the UPSA Online Application Portal
    • Use your Online Serial Number (OSN) and receipt number to access the application form
    • Fill in the application form and submit it online
  • Attach Supporting Documents:
    • Scan and attach the following documents in PDF format to your online application form:
      • Certified copies of all certificates
      • Certified copies of original transcripts of academic records
      • Birth certificate or any national ID or legitimate documentary proof of date of birth

However, the university has closed admissions for its 4-Year Bachelor of Laws programme.

“We assure all our admitted applicants that we are working to resolve the technical issue as quickly as possible. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused,” the statement reads.

UPSA is an ACBSP accredited institution committed to providing high-quality education. The university has encouraged all admitted and prospective students to be patient as they work to resolve the technical issues.
