The National Council of the Colleges of Education Teachers Association Ghana (CETAG) has called off its Industrial action with immediate effect.
This is to comply with the directive of the National Labour Commission to pave way for negotiations in bringing finality to all issues at hand.
The negotiation is to take a maximum of two weeks as leadership is expected to report to the Commission on Wednesday, 8th February 2023.
To this effect, the association has called on its members to comply with the Commission’s directive and return to the classroom while the parties meet to bring finality to bear on all the issues and disputes that the NLC identified during their 25th January 2023 hearing of the matter they brought to their Commission by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC).
