To this end, the academic authorities have announced that students would take a break on Friday, March 24, 2023, marking the end of the first term. The break would allow students to recharge and prepare themselves for the second term, which would commence on Monday, April 3, 2023.

The academic authorities emphasized the importance of adhering to these dates and ensuring that all schools comply accordingly. The Directors were tasked with the responsibility of making sure that the Heads of Schools for Basic and Second Cycle Schools in their respective regions were made aware of the updated academic calendar and the provisions on the announced dates.
