The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has served notice that if the government fails to grant their members’ demands concerning their “full” conditions of service and compensate them for all-year-round academic work by Wednesday, August 31, they will advise themselves.

The Association expressed disappointment that the government has not handled matters to do with its members’ welfare so well.

It said the government has taken a relaxed posture while tutors have been compelled to work since negotiations began in August 2021.

In a media release on Monday, August 22, the Association made its conclusions clear that, If by 31st August 2022, the government has not given them full conditions of service demand and other allowances due them, all the Members of CETAG across the 46 colleges will strongly advise themselves.
