The Principal of Komenda College of Education, Very Reverend Kwesi Nkum Wilson(PhD) has called on the newly admitted students to adhere to school rules and regulations for a peaceful stay in the college.
Speaking at the opening ceremony held on Tuesday, 31st January 2023 at the College complex hall for the freshers and the continuing level 200 students, Very Reverend Kwesi Nkum Wilson(PhD) stated the college is noted for hard work, discipline, academic excellence, and above service to God and humanity, hence the need for every student to abide by the laydown principles the college community is hinged on.
Dr. Wilson emphatically stated the College would not entertain any form of deviant and rebellious behavior from any student as the college is poised in strengthening, sustaining, and lifting high its image.
“This is a Christain institution and we are not lowering the standard for anyone. You are expected to conform to the ways of the school. You would be given a student handbook. Let it guide you. “, Dr. Kwesi Nkum Wilson expressed.
He, therefore, admonished the learners to put up their best by taking their academics and spiritual lives seriously.
He concluded by making it known to the freshers ” Edwumadzen na ɔma Assai yɛ fɛw” which means ‘hard work is the only way for a beautiful Assai Land’

Mr. Godwin Anani, the College Public Relations Officer also instructed the students to be cautious about the usage of social media and group links they click to join as there are many hackers and fraudsters in the system.
The event which saw all Management Members, Lecturers, Teaching and Non-teaching staff, and other officials on Board lasted for two hours
