Dambai College of Education has held a heartfelt handover ceremony, marking the end of H.E. Nanija Divine’s term as Student Representative Council (SRC) President.

The event which took place on March 1st, 2025, at the forecourt of the school’s administration block, drew dignitaries from across the educational landscape, including key figures from the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG).

Among the attendees were TTAG VOLTA President H.E. Awunyo Etse Edwin, TTAG National General Secretary Lala Victor, and TTAG National President, H.E. Soale Razak.

In her address, the Principal, Dr. Mrs. Benedicta Awusi Atiku lauded the exemplary leadership and achievements of H.E. Nanija Divine, expressing that Divine’s leadership has been “the best SRC Leadership” she had witnessed in her five years at the helm.

She praised his exceptional service and the tangible improvements made under his administration.

H.E. Soale Razack echoed Dr. Atiku’s sentiments, commending Divine for his unwavering dedication to the student body.

He urged the incoming SRC to continue the outgoing team’s commitment to student welfare and emphasized the importance of building on the strong foundation laid.

As a parting gift, Divine’s administration, through H.E. Soale Razack, donated 60 plastic chairs to the Principal for distribution to the college’s partner schools within Dambai, a testament to their commitment to community outreach.

In his farewell speech, H.E. Nanija Divine extended gratitude to the dignitaries, college management, and the student body for their unwavering support during his tenure.

He encouraged the incoming leadership to remain committed to serving the student body, upholding values of leadership, integrity, and excellence.

Concluding his speech, Divine reflected on his journey, stating, “Indeed, the Divine Intervention the young boy of yesterday spoke about did not fail, and forever, God is the lifter of men.”
