Information received by Coleman Publications reveals that managements of some of the colleges of education have adhered to the directive issued by PRINCOF on 18th August, 2023 to refund the first semester feeding grant for final year students.

However, there are reports suggesting that other colleges are showing reluctance in doing so.

According to reliable sources, some of these colleges have not even taken the necessary steps to credit their students’ accounts or engage the student leaderships in discussions regarding the way forward for the refund.

This unresponsiveness has led to increasing concerns amongst the final year trainees, particularly as the resumption of the second phase of their last semester approaches.

They believe that the college’s prompt action in crediting the refundable amounts would help reduce the outstanding fees they owe, providing them with the opportunity to settle their debts.

Expressing their worries, these trainees are now urging their management to take immediate action and fulfill their obligations by refunding the first semester feeding grant to them.

They argue that other colleges have already fulfilled this obligation, and the rest doing so would establish a sense of peace and fairness among all trainees.
