
The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has issued an important announcement to all loan applicants, warning them against fraudulent fees charged by unscrupulous individuals.
The SLTF has made it clear that no fees are charged for processing loan applications, and applicants are advised to deal only with officials of the Fund.
In addition, the SLTF has stated that it does not operate a protocol system, and loan applications should be filled and submitted only on the official website.

The Fund has also provided a list of all official phone numbers and zonal offices across the country on its website (www.sltf.gov.gh).
Borrowers who are making payments are advised to use only SLTF-approved repayment channels on the website.
The SLTF has urged loan applicants to call 030 2751020 for more information or to report any acts of extortion.
This announcement comes as a response to reports of fraudsters who have been charging unsuspecting loan applicants for services that are supposed to be free.
The SLTF has assured the public that it is committed to providing affordable loans to students and will not tolerate any fraudulent activities.

The SLTF is a government agency that provides financial support to Ghanaian students who are pursuing tertiary education.
Its mission is to ensure that no Ghanaian student is denied access to tertiary education due to financial constraints.
The Fund has disbursed over GH¢1 billion in loans to more than 200,000 students since its inception in 2006.
