The available information to Coleman Publications indicates that a decrease shall be observed in the amount of teacher trainees’ allowances that are sent to their cards.
Initially, trainees used to receive an amount of GH₵200.00 on their cards, while the remainder was directly sent to Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) as their feeding grant.
However, there are new directives in place, although yet to be officially confirmed, that will result in trainees now receiving only GH₵149.00 out of the total ‘GH₵200.00’ paid monthly into their cards.

The remaining sum will be given to PRINCOF to supplement the feeding component.
