The Management of Komenda College of Education has successfully purchased a brand new Toyota Fortuner through its Internally Generated Fund (IGF) to aid the principal in carrying out his administrative duties more effectively.
Approved by the college council, the acquisition of the principal’s duty car aims to enhance operational efficiency and provide reliable transportation for the principal.
To commemorate the purchase, a dedication service was held on December 17, 2023, where the vehicle was officially presented to the principal.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Rt. Rev. Richardson A. Andam, Chairman of the College Council and Bishop of the Cape Diocese of the Methodist Church-Ghana, Management members, tutors and a host of others.
During the event, Rt. Rev. Richardson A. Andam noted the significance of acquiring a dependable mode of transportation for the principal.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by the principal with his previous pickup’s functional issues and cited an incident where the vehicle broke down in the middle of a journey.
Rt. Rev. Richardson A. Andam lauded the Principal and the Management of the college for their responsible financial stewardship towards their Internally Generated Fund, urging them to continue with their good works.

He also highlighted various developmental strides taken by the college, including infrastructure enhancements such as dormitories, an administration block, a computer lab, and the procurement of a college bus with support from the Student Representative Council (SRC).
The Council Chairman again revealed that plans are in place for the construction of a new teachers’ residences, adding that the project approval had been granted, with the commencement scheduled for January.
