President Akufo-Addo to Launch Ghana Smart Schools Project

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is set to launch the ‘Ghana Smart Schools Project’ on Monday, 25th March 2024.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to strengthen Senior High School Education by providing Teaching and Learning Management Systems, Digital Learning Content, and Electronic Devices to all Senior High/TVET Schools across the country.

As part of the Ministry of Education’s digitalization agenda for pre-tertiary education, the Ghana Smart Schools Project seeks to equip students with the necessary tools and technology to succeed in the digital age.

By leveraging technological advancements, the government aims to prepare students for the fourth industrial revolution and ensure they can compete on a global scale.

The project when launched would be a major milestone in fulfilling the Education for Sustainable Development Agenda, which is recognized as a crucial driver for rapid socio-economic transformation.
