Four(4) Teacher Unions in the county, Ghana National Association of Teachers(GNAT), National Association of Graduate Teachers(NAGRAT), Coalition of Concerned Teachers Ghana(CCT) and Teachers and Educational Workers Union(TEWU) have Called Off their Strike action today, 14th July 2022, after a 15% COLA agreement was reached between them And Government.
The Unions went on strike from 4th July 2022, for a 20% cost of living allowance,(COLA) they were demanding from government. The government has finally agreed to 15% instead of the 20% as demanded by the Unions.
According to the agreement signed, Payment of the Cost of the Living Allowance will reflect this Month-July
