Trainees at Jasikan College of Education have taken a stand against their management regarding the disconnection of electrical sockets on campus.

This action has resulted in the trainees having to charge their mobile phones in locations where their devices end up being stolen. Despite their concerns, the management has remained quiet on the matter, leaving the trainees frustrated and angry.

According to the trainees, the management’s silence on the issue is perplexing, especially since they have already brought it to their attention through their Student Representative Council (SRC).

The trainees have urged the management to address the problem of disconnected sockets at their halls of residence, as it has made their lives on campus exceedingly difficult.

Reports reaching us indicate that some of the affected trainees have even contemplated staging a demonstration if the situation remains unresolved. The trainees feel that they have been neglected by the management, and they are determined to voice their grievances and demand action.

To understand the root cause of the socket disconnection, our team investigated the matter further. It was revealed that the disconnection was a result of high electricity consumption at the various cubicles of the halls of residence.

This problem has led to a strain on the electrical grid, leading the management to disconnect the sockets in order to avoid overload and potential hazards.

While it is understood that the management took this action for safety reasons, the trainees argue that they should have been informed and offered a possible solution.

They believe that the disconnection of the sockets is causing them immense inconvenience and jeopardizing the security of their personal belongings.
