In a move to provide relief to final-year students who were out of campus for the first semester of their 2022/2023 academic year because of their macro teaching, the management of Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education, Wa has refunded their first-semester feeding component.
The college refunded the amount of GH¢588.00 to students, instructed to be deducted from their overall fees for the academic year.
According to the management, the decision was taken as the college understands the financial pressure the students may have gone through during their internship and wants to provide support and assistance for them to be able to pay their fees.
As students were not on campus, the feeding component was not utilized by them. Hence, the management has issued a notice to students, requesting them to pay the remaining fees for the academic year of GHC1,480.69, after the deduction of the GH¢588.00 feeding component for the 12 weeks of Macro Teaching.
In addition, the management has notified students that any outstanding fees owed for previous academic years must be settled before they are allowed on campus on the 4th of June, 2023.
Students are advised to get in touch with the college accounts unit on-campus for any clarification and confirmation of balances.
