Many third-year students in the colleges of education affiliated to the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have been anxiously seeking confirmation regarding a possible extension of their vacation date.
Checks by coleman Publications confirms that there has been no extension announced for the vacation date and the Institute of Teacher Education and Continuous Professional Development (ITECPD) has not issued any official statement on this matter at the moment.
However, it should be noted that the Principals of the Colleges of Education affiliated to UEW have asked for an extension of the vacation date(Two Weeks extension). ITECPD is yet to respond to the request.

Therefore, trainees in these colleges are advised to adhere strictly to the existing academic calendar and focus on their end-of-semester examination, which is just around the corner.
