During the signing ceremony at the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), FWSC CEO Ing. Benjamin Arthur expressed gratitude to the negotiating teams for their cooperation.

He acknowledged that while the GRNMA had submitted numerous proposals, current economic conditions made it impossible to include new allowances in the agreement.

The GRNMA President, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, thanked the government team and stakeholders for their efforts.

She emphasized that the association will closely monitor the implementation of the agreement and urged the FWSC to ensure compliance.

Mrs. Ofori-Ampofo expressed optimism that further progress could be made in future negotiations to address outstanding issues.

The agreement covers various aspects of nurses’ and midwives’ working conditions, including salaries, benefits, and allowances.
