The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the Staff Identification Numbers for all newly recruited staff in 2023.
This news has been communicated to all regional directors, who have been urged to bring it to the attention of the newly recruited staff.
No biometric registration:
It has been confirmed that there will be no biometric registration for the newly recruited staff.
This is a different approach from previous years, and it is aimed at streamlining the processes and reducing the time it takes to issue staff identification numbers.
Payment of salaries:
The GES has also indicated that the payment of salaries for the newly recruited staff is expected to commence at the end of May 2023.
This is good news for the newly recruited staff, who can now look forward to receiving their first salaries.
Submission of forms:
To ensure timely payment of salaries, the GES has requested that all regional directors submit all processed new entrant forms promptly to the Payroll Unit, GES Headquarters, by May 24, 2023.
This would help to avoid any delays in salary payment.
It is important that all regional directors take note of the GES guidelines and comply with the submission deadline to ensure timely payment of salaries.
This would help to boost the morale of the new staff members and make their transition into their roles smoother.
