The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the release of the 2024 Teachers’ Promotion Exam results.
Teachers who participated in the promotion exercise are urged to check their results through the Ghana Education Service Management Information System (GES-MIS).
The process is straightforward and user-friendly:
- Visit https://gesmis.org/dashboard/admin/login.php and log in with your username and password.
- Use the “Check Promotion Result” link to view your status.
They are also encouraged to visit the GES-MIS platform anytime to ensure their profiles are up-to-date, reflecting any recent changes or additions to their professional information.

Pass Rate for Each Grade
The results (Pass and Fail Percentages) for the promotion examinations are as follows:
• Deputy Director: 54% of candidates (4,655 out of 8,565) passed.
• Assistant Director I: 85% of candidates (21,749 out of 25,556) passed.
• Assistant Director II: 61% of candidates (24,581 out of 40,020) passed.
• Principal Superintendent: 74% of candidates (4,932 out of 6,668) passed.
Candidates will receive an SMS notification indicating whether they passed or failed.
Formal promotion letters will be issued separately at a later date.
