Every year Komenda college of education has Students’ Representative Council elections. This is performed to elect a body that is meant to look after students’ interests and plays a role in bringing student issues to management.
And on Thursday 25th August 2022, the College held its SRC election to select a new crop of student leaders for the 2022/2023 academic year.

The most keenly contested positions were the SRC President position which was between Edward Yankey and Jeremy Tetteh and the Public Relations Officer Position which was between Jude Selenu and Michael Asabil.
Jeremy Tetteh and Michael Asabil won by amassing 74.3% and 51% of the total votes cast respectively.
The announcement was met with the singing of chants and merriment, especially from level 100 students.
