Potsin TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School located at Gomoa Potsin, near Winneba in the Central Region was thrown into chaos on Tuesday night when five final-year students attacked their junior colleagues in their dormitory.

According to reports, these five students used knives, clubs and other gadgets to attack 12 second-year students during ‘lightout’.

The school’s security team and the Potsin Neighborhood Watch Committee responded swiftly to the attack, but the attackers were able to injure 12 of their colleague students before they were apprehended.

The victims were immediately rushed to the Potsin Polyclinic for treatment.

It has been revealed that the attack was in retaliation to an earlier incident where an SHS 2 student had slapped a final year student.

This led to the revenge by the final year students who attacked the 12 victims.

The suspects have been handed over to the Potsin Police for further investigations.

Meanwhile, school authorities have remained silent on the happenings, but sources say parents of the suspects have been invited and a committee is being set up to look into the matter.
