According to the directives from PRINCOF, Final year students in Colleges of Education are to receive payment for a four-month feeding grant component.
This is because final-year students were on mandatory teaching practice for the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, hence were not fed by the colleges.
The Management of Komenda College of Education on Friday, 23rd September 2022 Credited its final year students with Two(2) months of the component, which is GH¢392.00
This is because the college had already reimbursed 2-months of the feeding grant components to its final year students in their earlier allowances paid before the directives by PRINCOF.
The message was met with wild jubilation by the students as some were under financial constraints.
Some who spoke with Coleman Publications expressed the refund has brought a little solace to them as they are about to commence their Mid-semester quiz on Monday, 26th of September 2022
