At an Emergency Professional Advisory Board meeting on the 14th and 15th of March 2023, the Institute for Teacher Education and Professional Development (ITECPD) discussed the fee-paying policy for students in colleges of Education affiliated with the University.

After thorough deliberation, the Board took two significant decisions related to the policy. These are;

Examination Fees:

All students in the UEW-affiliated Colleges of Education, including Level 400 students who went for an internship, are to pay an examination fee of Four Hundred and Sixty Ghana (GH¢ 460.00) per semester.

The University will not refund any part of the Examination fees to students come what may.

School Fees

Students in Level 200, Level 300, and Level 400 are required to pay seventy per cent (70%) of all fees at the beginning of their first semester to register for their various courses.

The remaining fees (30%) are to be paid at the beginning of their Second Semester.

Call to Action:

Students in the Colleges of Education affiliated to UEW are required to comply with the new directive on fee payment.

Adequate compliance with the directive will ensure that they can remain on campus throughout their studies without any impediment.
