The Enchi College of Education has held its highly anticipated 1st Congregation of the 4-year Bachelor of Education Programme. The event held on Saturday, 8th July 2023 was a momentous occasion, celebrating the achievements of 315 students who completed their studies.
Under the theme “Repositioning Teacher Education in Ghana, Meeting 21st-Century Needs of the New Teacher,” the congregation attracted numerous dignitaries and esteemed personalities, including Mr. Stephen Kwaku Owusu, the Deputy Director General (Management Service) of the Ghana Education Service, and Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education.
Graduation Statistics:
The congregation witnessed a diverse group of graduates, with a total of 11 students achieving first-class honors, 108 graduating with second-class upper honors, 155 with second-class lower honors, 40 with third-class honors, and 1 student obtaining a Pass grade.
This impressive distribution demonstrates the commitment and dedication of the Enchi College of Education to nurturing a well-rounded student body.
Outstanding Achievements:
Being recently ranked as the number-one college in Ghana, Enchi College of Education had three exceptional students who graduated with an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.8, showcasing their exceptional academic prowess.
Among them was Ezekiel Andoh who emerged as the best graduating student, earning well-deserved recognition for his exceptional performance throughout his academic journey.
Oppong Rockson secured the second-best position demonstrating his remarkable dedication and commitment to his studies.
Lastly, Odeifour Sintim( TTAG WEC-SECTOR PRM) was named the third-best graduating student, showcasing his unwavering determination and passion for education.
