CETAG President Urges Members to Stand Strong and Overcome Any Intimidation

In a WhatsApp message shared on Tuesday, 1st August 2023, Mr. Prince Obeg-Hemah, the President of CETAG, sent warm greetings to fellow CETAG members and expressed the importance of the ongoing strike to change their narrative.

He emphasized the need for every member to stand up and be counted, despite the inevitable challenges, threats, and intimidation that they may face.

Mr. Obeg-Hemah acknowledged that the path ahead would not be easy, as challenges, threats, and intimidation would manifest in various forms. Nevertheless, he asserted that these difficulties would serve as a test of character.

He expressed his confidence that with the right temperament, loyalty, and self-assurance, they would ultimately triumph.

The leadership promised to provide regular updates as they progressed forward. Above all, President Obeg-Hemah expressed Cetag’s profound appreciation for the unwavering loyalty displayed by their members.

The association is on strike and the duration of the strike remains uncertain. The members are fully aware that the decision to call off the strike lies with the government, and they eagerly await a resolution.
