According to the information received, the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has made a disbursement of three months’ allowance to trainees.
Unfortunately, due to the new policy that entails a reduction in the teacher trainees’ allowance, they are only receiving a meager three months’ worth of allowance for the entire first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
It is disheartening to note that the said amount paid, which used to be GHC 600.00, has now been decreased to GHC 447.00 (GHC149.00 X3)
