The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has revealed that it will continue its strike until the government fully implements the order from the National Labour Commission (NLC).
This latest update was shared with members by the CETAG National Trustee, Maxwell Bunu, in a post on August 22nd, 2023.

According to Bunu, the Leadership of CETAG held a meeting where they discussed the ongoing strike and their way forward.
After careful consideration, they decided that the strike would continue until the government fulfills all of the NLC’s order.
Bunu also stated that the Leadership of CETAG would work to explain to the Minister of Education why they did not honour his face-to-face meeting.

The post shared added that CETAG would take steps to inform the NLC of the current state of affairs with the government.
In his message to members, Bunu admonished them to remain resolute, focused, courageous, and prayerful.
